Iranian astronomer's idea introduced in International Solar Eclipse Confab
An Iranian scientist's ambitious idea was introduced in the International Solar Eclipse Conference 2011 despite Indian refusal to grant visa to the Iranian scientist. Hamid Djodeiri Khodashenas is an active Iranian eclipse chaser who has chased and observed four totalities around the world so far. The first was 1999 in Gahar, Lorestan province of Iran. The second was 2001 eclipse in Zimbabwe and the Last was 2003 eclipse observed in Antarcticam, and the recent last was 2005 totality in the Pacific Ocean. Read more
