MPEC 2011 - Y49

Comet P/2011 Y2 (BOATTINI) was discovered on the 4th September, 2011, by Andrea Boattini (Catalina Sky Survey).
The preliminary orbital elements of the comet indicate a perihelion passage on the 21st March, 2012, at a distance of 1.7 AU from the Sun, and an orbital period of 15.5 years.
