Comet P/2011 Y3 (BOATTINI) was discovered on the 25th December, 2011, by Andrea Boattini (Catalina Sky Survey).
The preliminary orbital elements of the comet indicate a perihelion passage on the 2nd December, 2011, at a distance of 5.5 AU from the Sun.
