Possible meteorite discovered in Castro Valley back yard

It wasn't exactly pennies from heaven, but if the smouldering, dark-coloured rock discovered on Mitch Medeiros' property did indeed fall from the sky, it may fetch the 55-year-old a fortune. If, that is, it's a verifiable meteorite.
Whatever it is has turned life upside down for the retired truck driver.
