MPEC 2012 - B66

Comet P/2012 B1 (PANSTARRS) was discovered on the 31st December, 2011, by the Pan-STARRS 1 telescope.
The preliminary orbital elements of the comet indicate a perihelion passage on the 10th July, 2012, at a distance of 3.8 AU from the Sun, and an orbital period of 16.9 years.
