St Caprais-de-Quinsac 44°45' N, 0°3' E Gironde, France
Fall 1883, January 28, 14:45 hrs
Stone. Chondrite. Ordinary (L6)
Approx. recovered weight: 288.5 g
After the appearance of a 'black cloud', and detonations, a stone of 282.5g was seen to fall, (but c.f. 288. now in Paris)

The St. Caprais-de-Quinsac (L6) meteorite fell in Aquitaine, France, on the 28th January, 1883.
A total mass of 360 g was recovered.

44° 45'N, 0° 3'E
