You can see both stages of the motor burn, including the fall back down to the ground of the first stage after it is ejected before the second stage ignites.

The Magnetosphere-Ionosphere Coupling (MICA) rocket, to be launched from the Poker Flat Research Range, will use a Terrier-Black Brant Mark 1 sounding rocket to deliver a scientific payload to an altitude of ~400 km in the neighbourhood of an auroral arc. Through this mission, we hope to learn more about the role of active ionospheric feedback in the development of large-amplitude, small-scale electromagnetic waves, and density depletions, in the portion of the low-altitude auroral ionosphere containing the downward field-aligned current.
