Comet C/2012 E1 (HILL) was discovered by R. Hill (Mount Lemmon Survey) on the 2nd March, 2012.The orbital elements of the comet indicate a perihelion passage was on the 19th June, 2011, at a distance of 7.48 AU from the Sun.
