Delta 4 lifts off

The fifth configuration of the Delta 4 rocket family marked its maiden flight Tuesday afternoon from Vandenberg Air Force Base in a mission to deliver a top-secret spy satellite to orbit.
The United Launch Alliance Delta 4 rocket, which stands some 20 stories high, blasted off at 23:12 UTC from Space Launch Complex-6 on South Base.
