 An expert on meteorites is saying it's not worth the time to look for what could have been a meteorite that plunged into Bantam Lake early Tuesday.
Ruben Garcia, a meteorite hunter who lives in Arizona, was responding to questions about the incident from Bantam Lake resident Bob LaBonne.

The Republican-American of Waterbury reports that a person driving in Litchfield at about 2am Tuesday reported that a green, glowing object the size of a whale fell from the sky and crashed into Bantam Lake.
