Kazakstan Fall 1927, May 5-15
Stone. Chondrite. Ordinary (L6)
Synonym(s): Mamra
Approx. recovered weight: 1 kg
A stone of 1kg fell in the night of 5 May (L.A. Kulik, 1929) or 15 May, I.S. Astapowitsch (1938). The data seems to be uncertain, but somewhere between 5 and 15 May, V.1 Vernadsky, letter of 5 August 1939, in Min. Dept., NHM, London. Only 58g have been preserved, date given as 15 May, L.G. Kyasha & A. Ya. Skripnik (1978).

The Mamra Springs (L6) meteorite fell in Kzyl-Orda, Kazakhstan, on the 5th May, 1927.
A total mass of 1 kg was recovered.

45° 13'N, 62° 5'E
