High-pitched noise indicated that three objects passed over Jarso heading north-northwest. One fell hitting the ground at the same time an explosion was heard. The object was not burning nor brilliant, and it produced a hole 25 cm in diameter and 30 cm deep in hard soil. Three pieces were recovered by Professor Pierre Gouin: 2.3 kg, 139 g and 17 g. Estimated impact weight of individual, 4-4.5 kg.
