The Utrecht was a witnessed multiple fall, which occurred in the neighbourhood of Utrecht city (Dutch province of Utrecht, in the center of the country) on June 2, 1843, around 8 p.m. local time with an overcast sky. The meteorite broke up during its passage through the atmosphere, fragmenting into at least two fragments.
