This meteorite fell at 6 p.m. on June 6, 1890 in the village of Nawapali (21° 15' N, 83° 40' E) in the Central Provinces of India. Three stones appear to have fallen, but only a few fragments, about 60 grams altogether, have been preserved; most of this material is in the Museum of the Geological Survey of India In Calcutta. The meteorite has been analysed by WIIK (1956), but has not otherwise been described. Read more
