 Medford Won't Turn Out Lights For Stargazers

Stargazers in Medford will have to head out of town to find the night time darkness they need to watch this summer's Perseid meteor shower.
The Mail Tribune reports that the City Council voted last week to drop the idea of turning out streetlights in some west Medford neighbourhoods to save electricity and improve summertime stargazing.
