Reports of possible explosion in Virginia Range east of Reno

Fire crews late Sunday tamed a fire in the mountains east of Reno, a blaze that might have been caused by an explosion.
Reporting parties described seeing what appeared to be a meteorite or a plane going down into the mountains, according to scanner traffic.
