Cherokee Tribes meet for Historic Tri-Council

The leaders of the three federally recognised Cherokee tribes made history this week, coming together in their birthplace for the first time since 1838 to jointly adopt vital cultural policies. Together, the three tribal governments represent more than 330,000 Cherokee citizens.
