Planetarium raising funds for new telescope

Sitting atop a hill on Westview Drive in Cedar City, Southern Utah University's Ashcroft Observatory has provided close-up views of deep-space objects to Southern Utah residents for more than 30 years. Recently, a broken telescope has obscured some of the best views the observatory offered, but efforts are underway to raise funds for, and awareness of, this Cedar City landmark.
