Comet P/2012 T2 (PANSTARRS) was discovered by the Pan-STARRS 1 telescope on the 10th October, 2012.
The preliminary orbital elements of the comet indicate a perihelion passage was on the 29th August, 2011 at a distance of approximately 4.8 AU from the Sun, and an orbital period of 13 years.
