UT installing planetarium in Nielson Physics Building

Stargazing will no longer require a sky - at least not at the University of Tennessee campus.
The physics and astronomy department is installing a 20-foot planetarium in a high-ceilinged classroom in the Nielson Physics Building. The roughly $200,000 project, an ambition of the department for several years, was approved by the State Building Commission in September, according to meeting minutes.
