Russian Cargo Ship Starts Single-Day Sprint to the International Space Station

Loaded with almost three tons of supplies, the Russian ISS Progress 49 cargo ship launched on time from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan October 31, 2012.

A Soyuz U rocket with the Progress 49P/M-17M is scheduled to launch from the Baikonur Cosmodrome at 07:41 UT, 31st October, 2012.
The unmanned cargo ship will deliver supplies to the International Space Station.
Docking (to Zvezda aft) is scheduled for around 13:40 UT, 1st November, 2012.
