Goldstone Radar Snags Images of Asteroid 2013 ET

A sequence of radar images of asteroid 2013 ET was obtained on March 10, 2013, by NASA scientists using the 70-meter Deep Space Network antenna at Goldstone, Calif., when the asteroid was about 1.1 million kilometres from Earth, which is 2.9 lunar distances.

The 64 - 140 metre wide asteroid 2013 ET will make a close pass (2.5 lunar distances, 0.0065 AU), travelling at 11.88 km/second, to the Earth-Moon system on the 9th March, 2013 @ 12:07 UT ±00:10.
