Comet C/2013 F2 (CATALINA) was discovered on the 28th December, 2012, by the Catalina Sky Survey telescope.The preliminary orbital elements of the comet indicate a perihelion passage on the 19th April, 2013, at a distance of 6.2 au from the Sun.
