Saline Township, Sheridan County, Kansas, U.S.A.
Found 1901 ; possibly fell 1898, Nov. 15, 9.30 p.m.
Stone. Crystalline spherical hypersthene-chondrite.

After appearance of fire-ball in 1898, a stone of about 08 lb. was found three years later

A brilliant fire-ball was seen and heard by at least five witnesses in Sheridan County, Kansas, on July 20, 1898 around 9:00 P.M.

Mr. J. W. Coleman stated his belief that the Saline meteorite fell on that day.
