Title: A remarkable meteor, connected with the Winnecke comet, photographed at Mukden, Manchuria Authors: Yamamoto, Issei.
On June 29, at 23" 51m, Japanese Western Standard Time, (June 29, 3h 51m P.M. in Greenwich Mean Time [1927]) an extraordinary bright meteor appeared in the low southwestern sky. It was a further surprise to the writer after a few moments' consideration when he realised that this great meteor was in the central part of the heavenly region which he was photographing.
