Macleay River.
(From the Macleay Herald, July 6.) 
A brilliant meteor was observed over East Kempsey on Sunday last, about 4 o'clock p.m. It was in appearance an oblong globe of fire the size of a hat. In its descent it twice partially burst, scattering numerous brilliant corruscations. It was observable for half a minute.
