Archaeologists have found an ancient oceanic trench in south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. The 20-hectare site with Karst topography is located at Mount Malong beside the city of Guilin.
The oceanic trench includes different sorts of stalagmite and stone chimneys. Archaeologists say that the oceanic trench was on the margin of the Baisha rupture belt about 400 million years ago.
