NGC 576 (also PGC 5535, ESO 196-7, FAIR 295, AM 0126-515 or IRAS01269-5151) is a magnitude +13.0 galaxy located 329 million light years away in the constellation Phoenix.

NGC 576 was discovered by the British astronomer John Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 Inch) speculum reflecting telescope at Feldhausen Road, Claremont, Cape Town on the 3rd October 1834.
