NGC 7307 (also ESO 345-26, IRAS 22309-4111, MCG -7-46-3 and PGC 69161) is a magnitude +13.0 barred spiral galaxy located 96 million light-years away in the constellation Grus.
NGC 7307 was discovered by British astronomer John Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflecting telescope at Feldhausen, Claremont, Cape Town on the 4th October 1836.
