NGC 7579 (also MCG 1-59-31, GWT 406.46, 09.0599 NPM1G or PGC 70964) is a magnitude 14.1 galaxy located 566 million light-years away in the constellation Pegasus. 

NGC 7579 was discovered by German astronomer Albert Marth using a 121.92 cm (48 inch) reflector in Malta on the 5th October 1864.

RA 23h 17m 38.8s, Dec 09° 26' 02"
