NGC 7729 (also UGC 12730, MCG 5-55-46, GWT 497.47 or PGC 72083) is a magnitude +13.5 barred spiral galaxy located 241 million light-years away in the constellation Pegasus.
NGC 7729 was discovered by French astronomer Edouard Stephan using a 80.01 cm (31.5 inch) reflector at the Marseille Observatory on the 5th October 1883.
