NGC 1122 (also NGC 1123, PGC 10890, UGC 2353, MCG 7-6-83, GWT 539 117 or IRAS02496 4200) is a magnitude +12.2 barred spiral galaxy, located 165 million light-years away in the constellation Perseus.
The galaxy was discovered by British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at Windsor Road, Slough on the 17th October 1886.
