NGC 1129 (also PGC 10959, UGC 2373, MCG 7-7-4, 539,124 GWT, GWT VV 85 or 540.6) is a magnitude +11.9 elliptical galaxy, located 239 million light-years away in the constellation Perseus.
The galaxy was discovered by British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at Windsor Road, Slough on the 17th October 1886.
