NGC 1137 (also PGC 10942, UGC 2374, MCG 0-8-43, GWT 389.42 or IRAS02514 0245) is a magnitude +12.5 spiral galaxy, located 140 million light-years away in the constellation Cetus.
The galaxy was discovered by American astronomer Lewis A. Swift using a 40.6 cm (16 inch) Alvan Clark and Sons refractor at the Warner Observatory, East Avenue, Rochester, New York, on the 17th October 1885.
