NGC 25 (also ESO 149-19 and PGC 706) is a magnitude +13.0 lenticular galaxy located 435 million light-years away in the constellation Phoenix.
The galaxy was discovered by British astronomer John Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflecting telescope at Feldhausen, Claremont, Cape Town on the 28th October 1834.
