NGC 215 (also PGC 2451, ESO 150-19 and AM 0038-562) is a magnitude +13.1 elliptical galaxy located 379 million light-years away in the constellation Phoenix.
The galaxy was discovered by British astronomer John Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflecting telescope at Feldhausen, Claremont, Cape Town on the 28th October 1834.
