NGC 6747 (also GWT 341.12, 72.0185 NPM1G or PGC 62564) is a magnitude +14.1 elliptical galaxy located 534 million light-years away in the constellation Draco.
The galaxy was discovered by American astronomer Lewis A. Swift using a 40.6 cm (16 inch) Alvan Clark and Sons refractor at the Warner Observatory, East Avenue, Rochester, New York, on the 31st October 1886.
