Large meteor spotted over Oregon

A fast-moving fireball the size of a car streaked across Northwest skies this morning, ending up over the Pacific Ocean.
By midday, the American Meteor Society had taken 42 reports about the fireball, from skywatchers in Oregon, Montana, Idaho and British Columbia, said Robert Lunsford, fireball coordinator for the nonprofit organization.
