NGC 1337 (also PGC 12916, MCG -2-9-42) is a magnitude +11.9 barred spiral galaxy located 57 million light-years away in the constellation Eridanus.
The galaxy was discovered by American astronomer Lewis A. Swift using a 40.6 cm (16 inch) Alvan Clark and Sons refractor at the Warner Observatory, East Avenue, Rochester, New York, on the 10th November 1885.
