NGC 2106 (also MCG-04-14-040, ESO 555-3, 2MASX J05504661-2134023 and PGC 17975) is a magnitude +12.1 barred spiral galaxy located 90 million light years away in the constellation Lepus.
The galaxy was discovered by English astronomer John Herschel with an 18-inch f/13 speculum telescope at at Feldhausen, Claremont, Cape Town on the 21st November 1835.
