NGC 2344 (also UGC 3734, MCG 8-13-103, GWT 234100, KARA 180, NPM1G 47.0086 or PGC 20395) is a magnitude +12.0 barred spiral galaxy located 45 million light-years away in the constellation Lynx.
The galaxy was discovered by American astronomer Lewis A. Swift using a 40.6 cm (16 inch) Alvan Clark and Sons refractor at the Warner Observatory, East Avenue, Rochester, New York, on the 24th November 1886.
