NGC 1200 (also PGC 11545, MCG -2-8-43, 2MASXJ03035448-1159306) is a magnitude +12.5 elliptical galaxy located 186 million light-years away in the constellation Eridanus.
The galaxy was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) reflecting telescope at Clayhall Farm House in Old Windsor on the 27th November 1785.
