NGC 1546 (also ESO 157-12, AM 0413-561, IRAS04134-5611, and PGC 14723) is a magnitude +11.0 lenticular galaxy located 59 million light-years away in the constellation Dorado.

The galaxy was discovered by the British astronomer John Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at Feldhausen, Claremont, Cape Town, on the 5th December 1834.  

Right Ascension 04h 14m 36.7s, Declination -56° 03' 37"
