NGC 1951 (also ESO 085-SC086, h 2858, GC 1158, KMH90-886, and SL 464) is a magnitude +10.6 open star cluster in the Large Magellanic Cloud located in the constellation Dorado.
The cluster was discovered by British astronomer John Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) reflecting telescope at Feldhausen, Claremont, Cape Town, on the 23rd December 1834.
