NGC 2304 (also OCL 484, Melotte 55 and Collinder 120) is a magnitude +10.0 open cluster located 14351 light-years away in the constellation Gemini.
The cluster was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) reflecting telescope at Datchet, Berkshire, on the 30th December 1783.
