NGC 2925 (also Cr 210, ESO 166-SC022 and OCL 783) is a magnitude +8.3 open cluster located 2,524 light-years away in the constellation Vela.
The cluster was discovered by British astronomer John Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.6 inch) reflector at Feldhausen, Claremont, Cape Town, on the 5th January 1837
