NGC 3600 (also UGC 6283, IRAS11130 +4152, MCG 7-23-38, GWT 213.38, MK 1443, KUG 1113 418 or PGC 34353) is a magnitude +11.7 edge-on spiral galaxy located 40 million light years away in the constellation Ursa Major.
The galaxy was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at Windsor Road, Slough, on the 14th January 1788.
