NGC 2418 (also UGC 3931, MCG 3-20-8, GWT 87.17, ARP 165 or PGC 21382) is a magnitude +12.3 elliptical galaxy located 232 million light-years away in the constellation Gemini.
The galaxy was discovered by French astronomer Edouard Jean-Marie Stephan using a 80.01 cm (31.5 inch) reflecting telescope at the Marseille Observatory on the 23rd January 1874.
