NGC 2593 (also UGC 4408, MCG 3-22-12, GWT 89.29 and PGC 23692) is a magnitude +13.9 lenticular galaxy located 290 million lightyears away in the constellation Cancer.
The galaxy was discovered by German astronomer Albert Marth using a 121.92 cm (48 inch) reflector at William Lassell's Tigné Point observatory in Sliema, Malta, on the 26th January 1865.
