NGC 1885 (also ESO 56-SC88) is a magnitude +12.0 open cluster in the Large Magellanic Cloud located in the constellation Dorado.

The cluster was discovered by British astronomer John Herschel at the Cape of Good Hope using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) reflecting telescope at Feldhausen, Claremont, Cape Town, on the 31st January 1835.
